Amazake (Koji Milk) Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes

The idea for this was to substitute the sweetness of marshmallows with Koji Milk and it did the trick! It also helps that koji milk has a nice white creamy texture, which is very reminiscent of marshmallows! You can alternatively mash your sweet potatoes and add koji milk to make a creamier sweeter sweet potato mash!



  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Cinnamon

  • Koji Milk (Amazake)


Follow These Steps!

  1. Scrub sweet potatoes to get ride of any dirt and pat dry with a clean towel.

  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and poke a few holes into the sweet potato to help reduce baking times.

  3. Bake your potato until tender – approximately 40 minutes.

  4. Drizzle koji milk and sprinkle cinnamon over the baked sweet potato as desired.
