Summer is coming to an end, and we managed to harvest and dry the last crop of purple shiso from the gardens of our generous friends here in the Bay Area. We combine our dehydrated soy sauce koji, Icelandic kelp from Burlap and Barrel, roasted sesame seeds, nori, and pink Himalayan salt to make this tasty furikake.
Furikake is a Japanese seasoning that you can use to sprinkle on rice, vegetables, fish, avocado toast, eggs, noodles, or even popcorn!
Ingredients: Purple shiso, koji soy sauce, icelandic kelp, roasted sesame seeds, nori, and pink Himalayan salt.
