This miso ginger salmon is the perfect weeknight dinner — deeply savory, slightly sweet, and bright with citrus. It broils to caramelized perfection and pairs beautifully with rice and seasonal veggies.

Ingredients
- 3–4 salmon filets (1–1¼ lbs total)
- 3 tbsp Shared Cultures Shiitake Katsuobushi Miso
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
Method
- Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet.
- Pat salmon dry and place filets skin-side down on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the miso, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, orange juice, and zest until smooth.
- Spread the miso mixture evenly over the tops of the salmon filets.
- Broil for 7 minutes, or until the tops are caramelized and the salmon is cooked through (opaque and flakes easily).
- Serve hot with steamed rice and your favorite sautéed or roasted vegetables.
To serve:
A full-flavor dish with minimal effort. Spoon over any extra sauce from the pan and garnish with fresh herbs or sesame seeds if desired.
