Butter Bean Miso Hummus

Featuring Shared Cultures Butter Bean Miso

Serves: 3–4 (as a light bite)

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tbsp Shared Cultures Butter Bean Miso
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves roasted garlic
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp water (plus more as needed)
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes), for garnish

To serve:

  • Pita chips
  • Crackers
  • Veggie sticks
Method
  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, miso, lemon juice, roasted garlic, tahini, and water.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with gochugaru for heat and color.
  5. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or veggie sticks. Enjoy!
