Butter Bean Miso Hummus

Serves: 3–4 (as a light bite)
Ingredients
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained
- 2 tbsp @sharedcultures Butter Bean Modern Miso
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves roasted garlic
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp water (plus more as needed)
- Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes), for garnish
To serve:
- Pita chips
- Crackers
- Veggie sticks
Method
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, miso, lemon juice, roasted garlic, tahini, and water.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach your desired consistency.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with gochugaru for heat and color.
- Serve with pita chips, crackers, or veggie sticks. Enjoy!
