Miso Honey Butter Toast
This Miso honey butter toast delivers crunch with a sweet and savory kick. We used our Urfa Ancho Miso for mild spice and fruity notes. You’ve gotta try it as a snack or part of Sunday brunch at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey
- 1 tsp Shared Cultures Urfa Ancho Miso
- Whipped cream
- Sesame seeds
Method:
- Toast the two slices of bread and set aside.
- In a bowl, cream butter, sugar, and miso together until evenly mixed.
Spread some onto a slice of bread.
Stack another slice on top.
Spread a generous amount of the mixture on all sides of the bread. - Place on baking sheet.
- Bake in toaster oven at 350 deg F for about 16-18 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- To serve, top with whipped cream and crushed sesame seeds (if desired).
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
