Miso Honey Butter Toast

This Miso honey butter toast delivers crunch with a sweet and savory kick. We used our Urfa Ancho Miso for mild spice and fruity notes. You’ve gotta try it as a snack or part of Sunday brunch at home.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp Shared Cultures Urfa Ancho Miso
  • Whipped cream
  • Sesame seeds

Method:

  1. Toast the two slices of bread and set aside. 
  2. In a bowl, cream butter, sugar, and miso together until evenly mixed.
    Spread some onto a slice of bread.
    Stack another slice on top.
    Spread a generous amount of the mixture on all sides of the bread.
  3. Place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake in toaster oven at 350 deg F for about 16-18 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. To serve, top with whipped cream and crushed sesame seeds (if desired).
    Serve immediately. Enjoy!
