Shipping policy
Shared Cultures ships to all 50 U.S. states. We ship orders every Monday and Tuesday. Transit time is approximately 2-4 days after shipping. Please note that a street address is needed, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO, FPO, and AP addresses.
Rates
Free shipping is available for orders over $80. All order under $80 will incur a flat shipping rate of $8.99. Your estimated shipping costs will be calculated during checkout.
Tracking
Customers will be notified via email with your order tracking number when items are starting to be processed.
Receiving
Our products are packed with the utmost care and attention. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be home on the day of delivery to guarantee packaging and product quality. If in doubt, we encourage orders to be delivered to a business or commercial address. Our shipping partners will not require a signature upon delivery and will leave the package on your doorstep if you are not home to receive it. To enjoy the full freshness and flavor of our products, we advise refrigerating the products immediately.
Shared Cultures is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of an incorrect address. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address, phone number, and email address.
International
Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States at this time.
Pickups
We offer local pickup at our San Francisco kitchen Monday through Thursday during business hours. To arrange pickup, place an order on our website and select "Pick Up in Person" as your shipping option at checkout. Please include your phone number or email so we can reach you. We reach out every Wednesday to arrange and confirm pickup times.
