Black Garlic Miso Ramen
This is your sign to add this garlic miso ramen to your dinner rotation. It’s a simplified version that’s still packed with depth and flavor. We love that it’s fully customizable based on what toppings you have on hand.
Ingredients:
- 4 oz ground meat of choice
- 4 cups broth
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- ramen noodles, fresh or dried
- 3 heaping tbsp of Shared Cultures Black Garlic Miso
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ½ tsp ginger, grated
- 1 small shallot, finely minced
- Salt, to taste
Toppings:
- Soft boiled egg
- Corn
- Seaweed
- Green onions
Method:
- Prepare choice of toppings ahead of time and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pot for about a minute.
- Add in garlic, ginger, and shallot and mix together.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add in ground meat and a bit of salt. Stir to break up.
- In a separate pot, cook noodles and drain. Set aside.
- When meat is cooked through, add in miso and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Add in broth and bring to a light simmer. Stir well.
- To serve, add noodles into a bowl.
- Ladle broth over the noodles.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings. Enjoy!
