Ingredients
- 1 tbsp @sharedcultures Cocoa Nib Miso
- ½ cup old-fashioned oats (rolled oats)
- 1 tbsp chia or flax seeds
- 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk of your choice
- 2 tbsp hot water
- Maple syrup or honey, to taste
- Fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, bananas)
- Fresh mint (optional topping)
- 1 tsp Dandelion Chocolate cocoa nibs (optional topping)
Method
- Prepare the base:
In a 16 or 32 oz mason jar, add the chia or flax seeds. If using a larger jar, you can easily double the recipe or add toppings for a to-go option.
Add the cocoa nib miso to the jar and mix well with the hot water to dissolve. - Combine the ingredients:
Add the oats and milk to the jar, stirring to incorporate the cocoa nib miso and chia seeds evenly. - Refrigerate:
Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or overnight if you prefer. - Top and serve:
Before eating, top with your favorite nuts, fresh fruit, cocoa nibs, and a drizzle of sweetener, if desired.
