In collaboration with Mario Gabiati, Danny Stoller Ali Toia, and Chance Plaskett, The Chemical Class hosted an intimate evening of scientific exploration, culinary delights, & cultural curiosities. The evening highlighted an immersive eight-course dinner & beverage pairing at the beautiful Rodgers Ranch in Pleasant Hill where guests explored how our senses react, connect, & respond to the world around us. The Chemical Class was formed over a mutual passion for mycology & food, which then evolved into a creative collaboration between scientists, artists, culinary experts, & innovative thinkers.
Shared Cultures prepared and presented a vegetable charcuterie board, shio koji rice cake, shio koji beef shank, and warm koji milk.
